QUALITY CONTROL & CERTIFICATIONS

How Do We Control UAV Lithium Battery Pack Quality from Incoming Inspection to Final Shipment?

Explore our quality control workflow, battery pack testing procedures, and documentation support for UAV battery applications. From incoming component inspection to final shipment checks, each stage follows defined quality procedures to support consistency, traceability, and reliable performance.

01 / QUALITY CONTROL WORKFLOW

From Incoming Inspection to Final Shipment

A structured quality workflow for UAV lithium battery packs, covering incoming component checks, PACK assembly, BMS integration, pack-level testing and final shipment release.

01

Incoming Inspection

Review incoming cells, BMS boards, connectors, cables and specified components, including available identification and inspection records.

02

Cell Grading & Sorting

Apply specified capacity, internal-resistance and voltage matching criteria where applicable.

03

Pre-Assembly Quality Check

Review incoming inspection and cell-matching results before battery pack assembly.

04

PACK Assembly & BMS Integration

Assemble the specified battery pack, wiring and connectors, and integrate the designated BMS.

PACK-LEVEL TESTING & RELEASE
05

BMS Programming & Functional Testing

Verify applicable protection functions, balancing, communication and firmware configuration.

06

Electrical & Mechanical Validation

Perform specified electrical, insulation, temperature-rise and mechanical checks according to the applicable test plan.

07

Final Inspection & Shipment Release

Check appearance, labeling, batch traceability and required shipment documentation before release.

02 / KEY PROCESS & TEST CONTROL

Critical Checks During PACK Production

BMS programming and pack-level verification help confirm that the assembled battery operates according to its defined requirements.

BMS Programming Inspection

100% TESTING — AS SPECIFIED IN SOURCE

  • Overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent and short-circuit protection
  • Balancing and communication checks where supported
  • CRC verification and firmware-version comparison

Pack Electrical & Mechanical Tests

Conduction resistance < 1 mΩ
Insulation resistance > 100 MΩ at 500 VDC
Temperature rise < 15°C under defined conditions
Vibration reference 5–2000 Hz; test profile to confirm

Aging & Screening Reference

The source lists 45°C for 7 days (digital) / 3 days (power), voltage drop < 10 mV, K value < 0.08 mV/h and self-discharge ΔOCV < 5 mV / 24 h. Confirm applicability before treating these as pack-level acceptance criteria.

Cell-process note: The source also lists formation parameters of 0.05–0.2C (digital) / 0.1–0.3C (power), temperature of 25 ± 3°C, and initial efficiency of ≥85% for NCM / ≥90% for LCO. These relate to upstream cell manufacturing, not universal finished UAV battery pack specifications.

03 / OUTGOING QUALITY CONTROL

Final Inspection Before Shipment

Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) is the final release checkpoint. Finished UAV battery packs should meet the applicable inspection criteria and have the required identification and shipment documents before release.
